Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\nPlease visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com\n Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our data centre team in Qatar.\nWith a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.\nResponsibilities:\nImplement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations\nAssess, review and monitor detailed Primavera P6 schedules including WBS, activities, relationships, constraints, and resource loading according to Client Specifications.\nConduct schedule analysis, forecasts, and performance tracking (e.g., SPI, CPI, Earned Value)\nIntegrate various contract packages into master plan schedule\nReview contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client\nPrepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client\nDevelop a project control procedure to monitor the progress of project. \nInteract with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule\nSupport project management in key decision-making with reliable scheduling insights\nDevelop mitigation plans\nAssess any contractor’s extension of time claim and prepare defense claim report\nPut forward recommendation report for any contractor’s EOT claim\nAnalyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project schedule. Ensure that the Financial Periods are set and followed by the Contractor in the Schedule\nAnalyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order. \nPrepare resourcing plans for the overall and individual project phases, identifying any excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling. \nEnsure that schedule related from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems. \nWorking closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced. \nProvide onsite progress measurement and verification of billing. \n 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling.\nTrack record of working on the construction of hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion.\nExpert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P3, P5, P6), Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI. \nProven experience with resource loading, cost/schedule integration, and baseline management\nExperience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports required for large scale projects.\nStrong technical understanding of construction methodologies and contract terms.\nFamiliarity with international project management standards (PMI).\nAbility to lead, coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required. \nThe tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions. \nDevelops good working relationships with project team. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
