Our Team received a Procurement Excellence Programme Award demonstrating excellence in our procurement and supply chain activities.\nThe Opportunity:\nThe individual will work with our highly skilled team delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services to some of the larger brands and on the most exciting programmes and projects. This will be achieved through a mixture of experiencing large scale projects, developing innovative solutions, working with Blue Chip organisations and becoming trusted experts.\nTurner & Townsend encourages a Hybrid method of working to provide a practical Work/Life balance that recognises the challenges that life brings.\nWe are keen to ensure that our team is delivering Best Practice in our Procurement Practices and therefore we will be encouraging and supporting individuals to achieve Chartered Status for CIPS and regular Professional Development will be available to further the team’s high standards.\nFurther opportunities are available to travel both nationally and internationally to service and manage key commissions for our blue chip client portfolio.\n Experience of leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment.\nA strong background in tender preparation and development of respective documents in relevant sectors (including design and preparation of the process and key documentation).\nExperience of leading and/or supporting in supplier engagement activities, to include market engagement through to contract award.\nCross sector experience with Public/Utilities Contract Regulations or equivalent.\nExperience of using a range of standard form contracts including NEC and JCT, developing terms, negotiation and award.\nHave achieved - or is working towards/willing to work towards MCIPs accreditation.\nPreferably possess degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.\nPreferably possess experience working in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors\nSecurity Clearance (SC) - currently valid or could be reinstated.\nSkills:\nAbility to develop procurement strategy within a project or programme context.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nUnderstanding of commercial principles and modelling.\nDelivery of strategy and/or development of documentation in a capital project or programme environment.\nBehaviours:\nAdaptable and taking Personal Responsibility to succeed the right way.\nConfident, independent and able to work with autonomy without need for supervision.\nBe able to manage multiple activities and stakeholders.\nAbility to Collaborate and develop and/or manage a team to achieve desired outcomes.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
