This role will lead end-to-end commercial strategy, contract negotiation, and supplier management across complex construction and manufacturing scopes.\nThis is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep expertise in contract negotiation, commercial risk management, and supplier strategy within large-scale project environments.\n*Role requires up to 20% travel to Eunice, NM from Houston, TX\nResponsibilities:\nLead end-to-end procurement and contract negotiations for major packages, including pricing, schedule, risk allocation, escalation mechanisms, and performance incentives.\nDevelop and execute procurement and commercial strategies aligned with project delivery, cost, and risk objectives.\nManage the full contract lifecycle (drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout) for high-value, complex agreements.\nAct as the commercial lead and advisor to project leadership, engineering, and supply chain teams.\nLead claims management and dispute resolution, including analysis, negotiation, and settlement of contractor and supplier claims.\nDrive change management processes, including evaluation of variation orders, cost impacts, and contractual entitlement.\nEnsure commercial governance, compliance, and audit readiness in line with regulated industry standards.\nAssess supplier and contractor capabilities, cost structures, and performance to support fact-based negotiations.\nPartner with Legal, Project Controls, and Engineering to ensure contracts are robust, executable, and risk balanced.\nDevelop and monitor commercial KPIs, including cost savings, contract compliance, claims exposure, and supplier performance.\nSupport continuous improvement of procurement, contracting, and commercial management processes.\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.\n 12-15+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, or commercial management within capital projects or regulated industries.\nStrong track record leading high-value contract negotiations (construction, engineering, manufacturing, or infrastructure).\nDeep understanding of contract forms, risk allocation, and claims management.\nExperience in highly regulated environments (e.g., nuclear, energy, infrastructure) is highly preferred.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.\nExperience with tools such as SAP, Primavera P6, and Excel for commercial and project controls integration.\nProfessional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CCM, PMP) are an asset.\n *On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
