You translate strategic business objectives into concrete project outcomes, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, in compliance with regulations, within budget, and according to schedule. You act as a connecting link between the business, technical disciplines, and external partners, while actively contributing to the further professionalization of project management within the team.\nResponsibilities:\nLeads multidisciplinary CAPEX projects-covering facility-related infrastructure, research installations, HVAC systems, and utilities-from the 'Identify' phase through to commissioning, qualification, handover, and operational start-up.\nManages multiple projects annually, with a total investment value ranging from €5 million to €10 million.\nDefines scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables, ensuring projects meet all requirements regarding safety, quality, time, and cost.\nDevelops project and execution plans, while securing the necessary resources, expertise, and support.\nCoordinates project execution and manages internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle.\nLeads multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and a focus on results.\nWorks closely with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and other relevant departments.\nMaintains professional relationships with EPCM partners, consultancy firms, contractors, and suppliers.\nServes as the primary point of contact for project sponsors, management, project teams, and external partners. Monitors progress, budgets, risks, KPIs, and project outcomes, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders and management.\nIdentifies risks, deviations, and bottlenecks; develops appropriate mitigation measures; and escalates issues when necessary.\nMakes well-founded decisions to effectively resolve technical, operational, and organizational challenges.\nCoordinates conceptual studies, feasibility analyses, and investment proposals, translating business needs into viable technical solutions.\nEnsures compliance with engineering, safety, quality, and corporate standards, including qualification and validation requirements.\nManages comprehensive project documentation, \"as-built\" records, handover documentation, training, and formal project closure.\nContributes actively to continuous improvement, the standardization of work processes, and the further professionalization of project management within the department.\nAdvises Portfolio Management on project progress, risks, investment trade-offs, and priorities within the project portfolio\n Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent, preferably in a technical field.\nAt least 7 years of experience with industrial implementation or capital investment projects.\nExperience within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry is an advantage.\nExperience with both construction-related projects and the implementation and installation of technical systems.\nProven experience in complex project planning, execution, and budget management.\nExperience in leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing external partners.\nStrong proficiency in both Dutch and English, in both verbal and written communication.\nStrong awareness of quality and safety.\nIndependent, proactive, and capable of effectively setting priorities.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement in a timely manner.\nProficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.\nService- and customer-oriented mindset, with an eye for the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively across various levels-from management and operational departments to technical specialists.\nStrong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, provide direction, and achieve results.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
