Key responsibilities include developing team capability in alignment with company values, as well as overseeing budgeting, production forecasting, planning, staffing, cost control, and overall operational profitability.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities\nServe as the site subject matter expert in mineral processing and operational best practices.\nMaintain a strong field presence to ensure consistent application of operating systems, procedures, controls, and risk-management practices.\nLead and manage processing operations to maximize production efficiency, safety performance, and cost effectiveness.\nDevelop and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports aligned with operational goals and budget expectations.\nIdentify and recommend short- and long-term improvement initiatives to enhance processing efficiency and reduce operating costs.\nDrive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, systems, and equipment performance.\nCoordinate short- and long-term maintenance planning with production requirements, including scheduled downtime activities.\nUtilize SAP and Microsoft Office tools to support operational reporting, analysis, and data-driven decision-making.\nPerform additional duties as required to support site operations and overall business objectives.\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\nEducation / Certifications\nBachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline strongly preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of education and demonstrated relevant experience may be considered.\nMinimum Experience\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in the mining or precious metals processing industry.\nStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in heap-leach gold processing, including oversight of:\nLeach pads\nCarbon-in-Column (CIC) circuits\nADR (Adsorption, Desorption, Recovery) plant\nMetallurgical and assay laboratories\nRefinery operations and gold recoveries\nProven experience in production forecasting and process modeling.\nDemonstrated success in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong financial and budget-management capabilities, including cost control and production optimization.\nProven ability to lead safe operations within a heap-leach processing facility.\nSkills / Knowledge\nIntermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.\nExperience with SAP.\nValid U.S. driver's license.\nAbility to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present technical and operational information.\nHigh level of accountability, integrity, and commitment to operational excellence.\nIn-depth knowledge of mining safety, health, and environmental regulations, with a strong commitment to maintaining a robust safety culture.\nFamiliarity with crushing and agglomeration preferred but not required.\nThe
