At Turning Point, you will be empowered and equipped to use your unique skills and abilities to glorify God and make an eternal impact while being part of a professional Christian community and relational work environment.\nPosition Summary:\nLeading with a focus on good stewardship, innovation, and efficiency, the Fulfillment Operations Supervisor oversees all day-to-day fulfillment operations occurring within the Turning Point Fulfillment Center (TPFC) floor and loading dock areas. The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor leads a team of 3-7 people to ensure and coordinate the fulfillment of all domestic orders for the TPFC. This position also supervises the shipping, receiving, and transfer of orders from within Turning Point and Shadow Mountain Community Church. The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor and their team of Fulfillment Specialists also works to support the monthly fulfillment of the Bible Strong Partners packages. Working with our partner Departments within Turning Point and our Third-Party Logistics (3PLs) providers, the Fulfillment Operations Supervisor ensures the timely shipping, tracking, and delivery of all Turning Point international shipments. This position reports directly to the Fulfillment and Inventory Manager. \nResponsibilities:\nFulfillment Center Floor SupervisionLeads and supervises the team of Fulfillment Specialists to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders leaving the TPFC\nSupervises the appropriate picking, packing, and shipping of all orders leaving the TPFC\nPrioritizes order fulfillment for the team\nEnsures the TPFC floor is safe, clean, and organized at all times\nOversees the safe movement of large orders, pallets, and other inventory on the TPFC floor\nReviews employee performance for all Fulfillment Specialists, at least annually and as needed for specific employee performance issues\nIn the absence of the Fulfillment and Inventory Manager, acts as the lead for all Fulfillment Center Operations\n\nInternational Order CoordinationWorking within the TPFC and with our 3PLs, coordinates the timely fulfillment and delivery of international orders\nLeads monthly international shipping meetings for TP Department partners\nOversees and ensures international orders are delivered by the most cost-effective method\nReviews and updates international shipping procedures in an ongoing manner to ensure good stewardship and best practices\nCoordinates with TP International Offices to ensure timely delivery and updating of inventory\n\nInternal Order CoordinationSupervises the timely and accurate fulfillment of all internal orders fulfilled at the TPFC\nEnsures appropriate coordination for internal orders fulfilled at 3PLs\n\nCustomer Order ResolutionWorking with the Inventory Coordinator, efficiently resolves errors in customer orders\nResolves shipping errors within the ERP and CRM\n\nEvents and Projects SupportWorking with the BSP and Volunteer Coordinator, provides team support for the monthly BSP package fulfillment and shipping\nProvides direction to the Fulfillment Team to support as needed project support\nSupervises interdepartmental projects involving the loading, packing, and shipping of inventory and non-inventory items for projects and events support\n\nForklift TrainerWorking with the Lead Fulfillment Specialist, provides training and testing for all TPFC employees for certification\nSupervises the safe operation, storage, and maintenance of all TP forklifts and related equipment\n\nCore Competencies:\nSpiritual Leadership: Demonstrates a Christ-centered approach to work and relationships.\nTeamwork: Builds positive and supportive relationships within the ministry, including employees, partners, and the community.\nIntegrity: Maintains a high standard of ethical and moral conduct.\nQualifications and Experience:\nDesired 4 years of combined experience in supervisory leadership positions and/or experience in customer order fulfillment, inventory control, or oversight of inventory management.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.\nMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to speak to individuals and groups comfortably.\nExhibited professional judgement and decision-making skills.\nMust exhibit great attention to detail and work independently.\nDemonstrated organizational skills.\nAptitude with technology tools and resources.\nSelf-starter with multi-tasking abilities.\nMust be proactive and accountable with a positive attitude.\nDemonstrated interpersonal skills, able to interact well with direct and cross-functional team members.\nIntermediate skill in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint).\nNetSuite or similar shipping or ERP system experience is a plus.\nWorking for Turning Point - What to Expect:\nTurning Point for God is committed to creating a dynamic culture that reflects our traditional Christian values and supports our employees’ God-given and unique abilities and skills. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
