At Turning Point, you will be empowered and equipped to use your unique skills and abilities to glorify God and make an eternal impact while being part of a professional Christian community and relational work environment.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Marketing Content Copywriter writes, edits, and adapts teaching content into clear, compelling digital marketing and inspirational materials in Turning Point’s established voice. Reporting to the Managing Editor, this role works collaboratively with the Senior Digital Content Manager, who helps set day-to-day priorities, guides assignments, and approves final copy for digital use. The position requires strong editorial judgment, theological accuracy, consistency, and the ability to manage a steady volume of work across formats, channels, and audiences, while serving as a steward of Turning Point’s editorial voice and brand standards across written communications.\nEssential Functions:\nWrite, edit, and adapt approved teaching content into marketing copy into compelling campaigns, inspirational articles, web content, ministry resources, and other audience-specific materials in Turning Point’s established voice, theological standards, and strategic messaging.\nEdit, excerpt, and adapt copy for a variety of formats, channels, and audiences.\nPartner with the Senior Digital Content Manager to prioritize assignments and refine and finalize copy.\nManage a steady volume of editorial work while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy and consistency.\nExercise editorial judgment to ensure content is theologically accurate, faithful to approved source material, and consistent with editorial and brand standards.\nIncorporate feedback and coordinate with internal teams to ensure copy is cohesive and appropriate for each audience and channel.\nLeverage approved AI and editorial technologies to enhance research, efficiency, editing, and content development while maintaining originality, theological integrity, and editorial judgment.\nCore Competencies:\nSpiritual Leadership: Demonstrates a Christ-centered approach to work and relationships.\nTeamwork: Builds positive and supportive relationships within the ministry, including employees, partners, and the community.\nIntegrity: Maintains a high standard of ethical and moral conduct.\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience\nThree or more years of professional writing, editing, or content marketing experience preferred\nAbility to translate theological concepts into clear, compelling communications for diverse audiences\nStrong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills\nAbility to write in an established voice across marketing and inspirational content\nExperience adapting long-form source material for multiple formats and audiences\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management\nDemonstrated ability to independently manage multiple writing projects from concept through final delivery\nAbility to receive direction, incorporate feedback, and manage recurring assignments\nChristian ministry, publishing, fundraising, or donor communications experience preferred\nWorking for Turning Point - What to Expect:\nTurning Point for God is committed to creating a dynamic culture that reflects our traditional Christian values and supports our employees’ God-given and unique abilities and skills. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
