You will partner with engineering leaders, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that support millions of users worldwide.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the design and development of shared backend services and platform capabilities.\nDrive architectural decisions and technical strategy across multiple teams.\nBuild scalable, highly available cloud-native solutions using Java and AWS technologies.\nMentor engineers and promote engineering excellence throughout the organization.\nCollaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.\nChampion best practices in software quality, performance, reliability, and security.\n What We're Looking For\nSignificant experience building and operating large-scale backend systems.\nStrong expertise in Java and modern cloud technologies.\nExperience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge, as well as Kubernetes (K8s) and related cloud-native technologies.\nExperience with CI/CD tools, including build, deployment, and test automation.\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, scalability, and software architecture.\nExperience influencing technical direction and leading complex engineering initiatives.\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills within distributed teams.\nPassion for mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers.\nNice to Have\nExperience with AI/ML technologies.\nExperience in SaaS or EdTech environments.\nFamiliarity with modern frontend technologies such as React.\n The expected annual base salary range for this position is: PLN 308,025/year to PLN 513,375/year. This position is bonus eligible.\nActual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if extended, and is determined by work location and a range of other relevant factors, including but not limited to: experience, skills, degrees, licensures, certifications, and other job-related factors.
