Turnkey Africa currently has a footprint of over 42 insurance and banking clients in 7 countries across Africa.\nReports To\r\n\nQA Lead\r\n\nWorks With\r\n\nSoftware Engineers, QA Engineers and Product\r\n\nScope\r\n\nManual, exploratory and automated testing of assigned Evolve APIs and user workflows\r\n\nTech Stack\r\n\nPostman, REST/JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, Playwright, Git, CI and SQL\r\n\nGrowth Path\r\n\n Associate QA Engineer, based on performance and business need\r\n\nRole Purpose\r\n\nEvolve is Caava Group's insurance management platform, built on Spring Boot services with Angular and Next.js frontends, and used by AIICO for its insurance operations.\r\n\nSupport the testing of Evolve's APIs and user workflows through manual, exploratory and automated testing. Work with experienced engineers to find defects, verify fixes and build reliable test coverage.\r\n\nCareer Path\r\n\nProgression to Associate QA Engineer depends on consistent delivery against these measures, growing independence on larger tasks, test and evidence quality, and business need.\r\n\nCore Accountabilities\r\n\nAPI testing and validation\r\n\n Translate requirements into test cases and test assigned REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.\r\n Check schemas, status codes, authentication, authorisation, error handling and edge cases. Maintain API collections and record results against agreed coverage.\r\n Check OpenAPI/Swagger documentation against API behaviour and work with engineers to close gaps.\r\n\nFrontend quality assurance\r\n\n Perform manual, exploratory, cross-browser and responsive testing of Evolve workflows.\r\n Test forms, validation and user journeys;
