Reporting directly to the VP of Fund Finance, this individual will help oversee the accounting and financial reporting activities of the firm's investment funds and related entities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, partnering across functions, and contributing within a lean team where strong performance is rewarded with increased responsibility and growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview quarterly and annual financial statements prepared by the fund administrator\n\nLiaise with the funds’ service providers (fund administrator, auditor, etc.)\n\nAnalyze investment transactions to ensure appropriate reflection in the funds’ accounting records\n\nMonitor cash activity and planning for the funds, including cash projections, line of credit advance requests, paydowns, and bank compliance\n\nAssist with capital call and distribution calculations\n\nRespond to investor inquiries and support financial reporting requests\n\nReview investor statements and related communications\n\nEnsure efficient, well-documented day-to-day processes and detailed accounting review\n\nContribute to ad hoc projects, including process improvements and AI-related initiatives\n\nQualifications\n3-4+ years of experience of public and/or private accounting experience\n\nExposure to fund accounting within private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or similar investment vehicles\n\nStrong and demonstrated interest in accounting\n\nHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail\n\nAbility to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven environment\n\nProactive, adaptable, and brings a hands-on, team-first mentality\n\nStrong work ethic with a commitment to quality\n\nThinks ahead, anticipates needs, and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement\n\nCPA (active or inactive) a plus\n\nBachelors degree\n\nLocation\nSan Francisco, hybrid work model.\n\nCompensation\nThe annual base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $135,000, plus an annual performance bonus, taking into account numerous variable factors that are considered in making compensation decisions
