The ideal person for this role possesses strong quantitative and analytics skills, is a demonstrated self-starter that operates with an ownership mindset, possess excellent communication skills, and has the ability to get up to speed quickly on different topics and areas.\nWhat you will do\nAnalyze complex data sets to identify areas of opportunities, formulate actionable recommendations, and test these insights \nPresent analysis and recommendations to Exec leadership and work with product teams to rapidly execute and iterate based on feedback\nLead experimentation from designing tests to analyzing results that lead to product launch decisions\nPartner with product, data science, and operations leadership to influence the direction of the product with the goal of improving user experience and/or profitability of the business\nTrack the performance of the business and help stakeholders shift in business trends\nSupport ad-hoc analytical projects based on Turo strategic priorities\nEstablish data specifications, build ETL pipelines, and assess the impact of new product releases and policy changes on the platform\nYour profile\n1-3+ years experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or strategy consulting; experience in consumer tech, marketplaces or e-commerce a strong plus\nTop notch quantitative skills; strong proficiency in conducting detailed data analysis and using metrics to drive business results\nStrong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases; experience with BI & visualization tools is a strong plus (i.e. DOMO, Tableau)\nExperience transforming data into presentations that “tell the story” behind the data\nComfortable working with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint\nMust be intellectually curious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask\nExperience designing and executing AB tests is a strong plus\nMust have strong communication skills and have the ability to articulate complex insights\nThrive working in a collaborative environment and have experience working cross-functionally\nMust have a positive attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethic\nFor this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $124,000 - $155,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role.
