Candidate must possess a strong understanding of the industrial, OEM and contractor opportunities in the Hudson Valley, Albany, Westchester and Rockland County markets, and have a proven track record of growing sales. This position is a salary plus bonus eligible position.\nWhat You'll Do\nIdentify and promote new business opportunities. \nCultivate strong relationships with vendor and rep. partners. \nBuild and maintain strategic partnerships with key accounts, contractors, and OEMs. \nDevelop and implement targeted sales plans and strategies for each specific region and market segment. \nCollaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to align efforts. \nRepresent the company at industry events and trade shows. \nRead and understand a distributor P&L.\nWhat You'll Bring\nProven experience in building relationships, working with customers and vendors\nExcellent interpersonal skills, writing ability, and presentation and verbal skills, with prior experience presenting in group settings and to senior management.\nExperience in financial reporting, budgeting and/or cost projections desired\nStrong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; as well as digital platforms such as LinkedIn; ability to learn and work with other complementary software packages.\nSalesforce experience highly desirable\nAbility to travel up to 50% when required.\nAggressive sales personality, self-starter, able to motivate oneself.\nIntermediate computer skills with MS Office\nWhat We Offer\nWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes:\n401(k) plan\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid holidays\nVacation\nEmployee negotiated discounts\nWho We Are\nFounded in 1923, Turtle is a fourth-generation, family-owned, and three-generation women-owned business, and one of the nation’s largest independent electrical and industrial distributors.
