Join us and be a part of a company that’s making waves and empowering its people to do extraordinary things every single day!\nAbout the Role\nThe Tool Room Attendant/Vending Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and issuing the tools and supplies used in the production supply crib located on the site of our client.\nThis is a 3rd shift position, Sunday thru Thursday, 10pm - 6am.\nWhat You'll Do\nReceives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment and requisitions stock to replenish inventory \nResponsible for replenishment and maintenance of stocked vending machines. \nCycle counting\nMark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool\nGeneral housekeeping\nInventory management of tools and equipment \nCoordinate customer needs\nIdentify cost savings initiatives \nDelivers tools, equipment or product to workers, manually or using hand truck\nAssist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns \nInspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear and report damage or wear to supervisor\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nExcellent customer service skills\nExperience with the daily operation of supply cribs\nProfessional phone demeanor\nExperience with computer managed inventory systems\nMechanical or Industrial background preferred\nExperience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel is a plus\nAbility to be flexible \nWhat We Offer\nWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes:\n401(k) plan\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid holidays\nVacation\nEmployee negotiated discounts\nWho We Are\nFounded in 1923, Turtle is a fourth-generation, family-owned, and three-generation women-owned business, and one of the nation’s largest independent electrical and industrial distributors.
