This role requires strong technical skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nConduct regular maintenance and service visits to client sites to ensure the optimal performance of physical security systems.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with access control systems, video surveillance systems, alarms, and related equipment.\nPerform repairs and replacements of faulty components or equipment as needed.\nConduct system upgrades and software updates to improve functionality and security.\nProvide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, or onsite visits.\nCollaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to address client needs and concerns promptly and effectively.\nDocument service activities, including maintenance visits, repairs, and upgrades, accurately and thoroughly.\nStay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in physical security systems to provide informed recommendations and solutions to clients.\nInstall and configure physical security systems, including access control systems, video surveillance systems, and related equipment.\nMount and secure cameras, sensors, and other security devices in appropriate locations according to design and specifications.\nInstall and connect wiring and cables for power, data, and video transmission.\nTest and troubleshoot security systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.\nProvide on-site training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed security systems.\nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines during installations and maintenance activities.\nCompetencies and Skills\nStrong understanding of physical security infrastructure and best practices.\nClear communication skills, both technical and non-technical.\nProfessionalism in high-pressure and customer-facing environments.\nAttention to detail and pride in workmanship.\nTakes initiative and seeks continuous improvement.\nComfortable in both leadership and team roles.\nSolid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAccountability, punctuality, and ownership of assigned responsibilities.\nKnowledge, Education & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum of 2 years of experience installing and commissioning security systems.\nValid Driver's license with good driving record.\nAbility driver's license with good driving record.\nAbility to read and interpret construction documents and technical specifications.\nAbility to perform basic IP network configuration and understand connectivity.\nComfortable working with hand and power tools, including scissor lifts.\nBasic understanding of Windows-based applications, system configuration and browser-based interfaces.\nWork Environment/Physical Demands\nNoise level is moderate\nFrequently exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock.\nOccasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.\nRegularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.\nFrequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nOccasionally required to climb or balance.\nFrequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. \nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nAbility to read, write and correspond proficiently in the English language is required.\nMust be willing to drive company vehicles to various client sites on a daily basis.
