This includes working to ensure construction is progressing as scheduled and contract specifications are adheredto.\n\nAs a Project Engineer at Tutor Perini Building Corp., reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:\nInspect construction site daily and works with contractors to schedule deliveries\nInterpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials\nResearch and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors\nPrepare field design change requisitions and “as built” drawings\nPrepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations\nVerify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications\nAttend meetings with other contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts\nDevelop checklists for project closeout documentation in conjunction with specifications\nCoordinate quality control activities with the construction schedule\nAssist Contracts Manager with scope gaps\nResearch and propose solutions to quality control issues\nCreate, process, and propose solutions and administers RFI’s\nSet-up job specific concrete log, as well as reviews and maintains concrete log\nCoordinate MEP start-up and commission meetings and overhead and underground coordination\nCreate scheduling construction sequence, logistics and drawings\nUnderstand and comply with company’s safety program and remedial safety procedures\nCoordinate changes in mock-ups and/or shop drawings and specifications\nOversee Quantity Take-off’s as project requires\nOversee project related pricing/budgets\nDevelops procurement log and tracks progress to ensure compliance with project schedule\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 1 or more years of construction experience\nProficient with MSOffice Suite and Prolog or similar software\nExperience in blueprint reading, construction scheduling and CAD\nPrevious experience as a field engineer or project engineer on commercial construction projects is preferred\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
