Our corporate integrity, financial strength and outstanding record of performance makes us an attractive partner on large, sophisticated infrastructure projects.\nTutor Perini is the general contractor for the HART City Center Guideway and Stations project. The scope of the approximately $1.66 billion contract includes the design and construction of six rail stations and approximately three miles of elevated rail guideway beginning just east of the Middle Street Transit Center Station and ending at the Civic Center Station, which will be located just east of the intersection of Halekauwila Street and South Street in downtown Honolulu. Project design is expected to begin immediately while construction is estimated to commence in the second half of 2025. Construction of this segment is expected to be substantially completed in 2030.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDESCRIPTION:\nAs a StructuralSuperintendent at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:\nSupervise construction effort on elevated guideway structures to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule.\n\nAssume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).\n\nAssume responsibility for compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements, efficient use of materials & equipment, site safety plan and timely performance of the project schedule.\n\nProvide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.\n\nAssist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.\n\nSupport Site Specific Safety Plan.\n\nCoordinate with on-site Owner employees.\n\nPerform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n15 or more years of construction experience\n\nHighschool diploma or GED preferred but not required.\n\n10 or more years’ experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects overseeing construction of concrete structures\n\nExperience as a superintendent on projects valued over $500M\n\nKnowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.\n\nExperience with City, State, and or Federal Government Clients preferred\n\nKnowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft\n\nExperienced in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid or similar software\n\nOSHA 500, certification, CPR & First Aid Certs\n\nExcellent written and verbal skills\n\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
