In the progressive and booming construction market, we’re guided by safety, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.\nAcross New York State our notable projects include the Time Warner Building, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Seven World Trade Center and Goldman Sachs' Lower Manhattan Headquarters.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDESCRIPTION:\nAs an Assistant Scheduling Engineer WDF, Inc., you will have the opportunity to:\nAssist with developing project schedules for all phases of the project, from pre-construction through close-out.\nCollect, verify, and enter schedule progress information, including actual start and finish dates, remaining durations, and percent complete.\nAssist with updating project schedules and preparing progress and performance reports.\nSupport the Scheduling Manager and project teams in maintaining accurate, timely, and logically sequenced schedules.\nCoordinate with the Construction, Project Management, Design, Procurement, and Cost Control teams to gather schedule information.\nHelp review subcontractor schedules, short-term look-ahead schedules, and supporting schedule narratives.\nAssist with creating schedule fragments for Time Impact Analyses, recovery plans, and scenario studies.\nSupport the preparation of preliminary schedule analyses for completed, ongoing, and future work.\nParticipate in pull-planning sessions and schedule review meetings with field teams, consultants, and subcontractors.\nMaintain scheduling data from change order, procurement, submittal, RFI, billing/requisition, commissioning, and close-out logs.\nAssist with identifying schedule variances, potential delays, critical-path activities, and upcoming milestones for review by the Scheduling Manager.\nPrepare meeting materials, schedule reports, charts, and presentations as directed.\nSupport earned value analysis, cost and resource loading, schedule modeling, claims documentation, and other scheduling assignments.\nMaintain organized schedule files, update logs, and supporting documentation in accordance with project procedures.\nPerform quality checks on schedule data and promptly communicate incomplete or inconsistent information to the Scheduling Manager.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.\nWorking knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling concepts, and project controls fundamentals.\nExperience with Primavera P6 preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.\nAbility to review project information, organize data, and prepare accurate reports under the direction of the Scheduling Manager.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.\nWillingness to learn schedule development, progress measurement, critical-path analysis, earned value management, and time-impact analysis.\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
