Our goal is to be the industry’s best source, and best value, for complete turn-key construction, engineering and design-build services and related products.\nFrontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture was awarded the Manhattan Tunnel Project, part of the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). A $1.18 billion design-build contract from the Gateway Development Commission for the HTP which aims to enhance rail resiliency by adding two new tracks between New York and New Jersey and rehabilitating the storm-damaged North River Tunnel. The project includes designing and constructing twin 30-foot diameter, 700-foot-long tunnels under the Hudson River, connecting to existing tunnels beneath Hudson Yards, and an access shaft at 12th Avenue, later serving as a ventilation facility.\nExtraordinary Projects Need Exceptional Talent\nDESCRIPTION:\nAs a Cost Accounting Clerk at Frontier-Kemper, you will have the opportunity to:\nCollect and manage Time and Material (T/M) tickets from field personnel.\n\nAssist field teams in identifying work requiring T/M documentation.\n\nVerify accuracy of T/M tickets and ensure they are properly signed, scanned, distributed, and filed.\n\nCoordinate with project managers, superintendents, and accounting staff to ensure timely T/M processing.\n\nAssist with invoice tracking, coding, and processing.\n\nMatch vendor invoices with T/M documentation and purchase orders for approval.\n\nMaintain organized digital and hard-copy filing systems for T/M tickets, AP records, and other project documents.\n\nSupport general office administration and paper management tasks.\n\nAid in gathering, organizing, and submitting environmental compliance data as required by the project or client.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Business, or Construction Management preferred.\n\nMinimum of 2-4 years of administrative or accounting support experience, preferably in construction or engineering.\n\nStrong knowledge of Time and Material (T/M) processes and job cost tracking.\n\nFamiliarity with accounts payable and payroll functions.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and data accuracy skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with construction accounting software (e.g., CMiC, Viewpoint, JD Edwards, or similar) a plus.\n\nStrong organizational and recordkeeping skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.\n\nEffective communication and collaboration skills when working with field, accounting, and project teams.\n\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.\n\nFrontier-Kemper builds extraordinary projects, and we need exceptional talent.
