Our goal is to be the industry’s best source, and best value, for complete turn-key construction, engineering and design-build services and related products.\nNotable public and private sector clients include major transportation authorities in Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle; Gateway Development Commission; public works authorities in New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver; Federal agencies; and mining clients for gold, copper, potash, salt, and coal.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDescription:\nAs aConstruction Manager at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:\nAssist with assigned project under direction of the Project ManagerProject Executive\n\nAssist with project budgets and minimize exposure and risk on projects\n\nEnsure procurement and proposal development activities move according to schedule\n\nCommunicate effectively with the sub-contractors and vendors responsible for completing various phases of work\n\nCoordinate the efforts of all parties involved in projects, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors\n\nMonitor/report the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with clients and/or consultant team\n\nMaintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards\n\nIntegrate new technology and mining methods at existing projects to improve production\n\nAssist with preparation of post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control\n\nActively participate in production tracking and post-job analysis\n\nRequirements:\nA bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar\n\n10+ years of experience with Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations, specifically EPB & Mixshield TBMs.\n\nHands-on experience with Herrenknecht equipment\n\n5 or more years’ experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in heavy civil, mining, or a related area\n\nPrevious experience with project management, field engineering, estimating, and/or project scheduling\n\nAbility and willingness to work on construction sites (mines and tunnels) within an underground environment\n\nOSHA 30, MSHA Instructor and Underground Mine Examiner Certifications are all preferred\n\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
