Notable projects include the Southwest METRO Green Line Extension, I-74 Mississippi River Bridge, Saint Croix Crossing, Marquette Interchange, I-494 Airport to Highway 169 Design-Build, and the Southwest LRT Blue Line Extension.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDESCRIPTION:\nAs a Design Build Project Manager at Lunda Construction, reporting to Regional Manager, you will have the opportunity to:\nPerform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed\n\nManage project budgets and minimize exposure and risk on projects\n\nEnsure procurement and proposal development activities move according to schedule\n\nEnsure that construction activities move according to schedule and communicate any delays to appropriate parties\n\nCoordinate the development of project work plans and make revisions as when needed\n\nPerform constructability review\n\nCommunicate effectively with the contractors and vendors responsible for completing various phases of work\n\nCoordinate the efforts of all parties involved in projects, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors\n\nMonitor/report the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with clients and/or consultant team\n\nMaintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards\n\nInspect and review construction sites\n\nEnsure project documents are compliant\n\nPerform other duties as required\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred\n\n10 or more years of relevant project management experience\n\n5 or more years of Design Build project experience\n\nHeavy civil construction experience preferred\n\nAbility to work under pressure\n\nExcellent time management skills and logical decision-making ability\n\nAbility to read and understand drawings and specifications\n\nMust have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team\n\nExcellent written and oral communication is necessary\n\nAbility to collaborate with personnel at all levels, both internal and external to the organization\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States\n\nAbility to travel is required\n\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
