Our FKC-Lake Shore division provides design/build/install services for innovative Hoisting and Vertical Conveyance Systems. Our goal is to be the industry’s best source, and best value, for complete turn-key construction, engineering and design-build services and related products.\nNotable public and private sector clients include major transportation authorities in Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle; Gateway Development Commission; public works authorities in New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver; Federal agencies; and mining clients for gold, copper, potash, salt, and coal.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDESCRIPTION:\nAs an Engineering Manager at Frontier-Kemper, you will have the opportunity to:\nLead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of 10 Professional Engineers, along with more than eight engineers, designers, and detailers based in Evansville, IN.\n\nOversee all engineering and design functions across three operational divisions: Heavy Civil Tunneling, Mine Development, and OEM Equipment Manufacturing/FKC-Lake Shore.\n\nManage and maintain project engineering schedules and budgets.\n\nServe as the technical liaison with Division Managers, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.\n\nDirect and coordinate engineering, operational, and quality initiatives to improve cost, delivery, and performance.\n\nEnsure that all designs meet commercial, customer, regulatory, safety, and quality standards.\n\nLead three discipline managers in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering.\n\nMentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s degree or higher from an ABET-accredited institution.\n\nMinimum of 15 years of related engineering experience.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of operations management and/or engineering leadership experience.\n\nLicensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.\n\nStrong technical background in Heavy Civil or Mining Construction.\n\nEquipment design and manufacturing experience preferred.\n\nProven track record of successfully leading and motivating high-performing engineering teams.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nStrong analytical and computer skills.\n\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
