Notable projects include the Southwest METRO Green Line Extension, I-74 Mississippi River Bridge, Saint Croix Crossing, Marquette Interchange, I-494 Airport to Highway 169 Design-Build, and the Southwest LRT Blue Line Extension.\nExtraordinary Projects, Exceptional Performance\nDESCRIPTION:\nAs an Industrial Construction Project Manager at Lunda Construction, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the overall leadership, development, estimating, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects while driving business growth within key markets including paper mills, foundries, manufacturing facilities, moveable bridge structures, power generation, and other heavy industrial environments.\nThis role serves as the primary client contact and is accountable for all aspects of project management, including business development, estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, safety, quality, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and project closeout. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new opportunities and expanding services within existing and prospective accounts.\nDevelop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers in market sector.\n\nIdentify, estimate, propose, and secure construction, maintenance, shutdown, outage, and capital project opportunities.\n\nLead projects from concept through completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and closeout.\n\nManage project financial performance, contracts, change orders, subcontractors, vendors, and overall project documentation.\n\nCoordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, field personnel, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.\n\nProvide leadership and direction to project teams, supporting operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitable project execution.\n\nMonitor project risks, schedules, manpower, and costs, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve project objectives.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent field experience.\n\n3+ years of project management experience in industrial construction, maintenance, shutdowns, or capital projects.\n\nStrong knowledge of construction methods, mechanical systems, equipment installation, and maintenance.\n\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and project teams.\n\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.\n\nBackground in estimating, business development, and client relationship management.\n\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
