This position works directly with the project teams as a core function of Operations. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling functions on assigned project(s) so as to facilitate on-time delivery of the projects. The Scheduler is a team player and helps focus team efforts surrounding schedule planning, development, updating, and delay mitigation. As such, the Scheduler must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nJob Skills & Abilities:\nAble to manage and coordinate with the project team(s) to generate the monthly status updates and narrative reports as required and stipulated in the Contract Documents of the Owner / Client;\n\nExcellent working knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6;\n\nFamiliarity with cost, quantity and labor hour loading preferred;\n\nKnowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its derivatives CPI and SPI preferred;\n\nAbility to read and interpret plans, models, and specifications for the development of schedules;\n\nRepresent the Company and/or the project in meetings with the project owners, A/E representatives and other Contractors as required;\n\nEnsure that the corporate planning and scheduling standards are implemented and that all project related activities comply;\n\nPerform additional scheduling related assignments as required such as time impact analyses;\n\nWork with Estimating and Preconstruction Department to ensure timely development of bid schedules;\n\nAssist in maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients;\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills;\n\nAbility to multi-task;\n\nFunctions effectively as part of a team;\n\nAbility to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nExperienced in scheduling for construction projects using Primavera P6 software in the commercial general building sector.\n\nExperienced in development of resource and cost loaded baseline schedules.\n\nProficient in P6 and Microsoft Office platforms.\n\nTravel to, and working on, projects sites is required.\n\n*In lieu of the above-stated experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls.\nExpected annual salary range for this job is $95,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.\nRudolph & Sletten builds extraordinary projects with exceptional talent.
