TPZP is seeking aStructural Superintendent for the project in Fresno, CA\nAbout California High Speed Rail- CP1\nExtraordinary Projects, Exceptional Performance\nThe California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the High-Speed Rail project in California’s Central Valley.\nThe CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations, two mainline viaducts, one tunnel, realignments of existing railroad tracks, utility relocations, roadway relocations, two trench sections, and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDESCRIPTION: \nAs a Structural Superintendent at TPZP, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:\nSupervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule.\n\nAssume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).\n\nAssume responsibility for compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements, efficient use of materials & equipment, site safety plan and timely performance of the project schedule.\n\nProvide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.\n\nAssist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.\n\nSupport Site Specific Safety Plan.\n\nCoordinate with on-site Owner employees.\n\nPerform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n15 or more years of construction experience\n\n10 or more years’ experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects\n\nExperience as a superintendent on projects valued over $200M\n\nPrevious Superintendent experience on bridge, highway or transit projects\n\nKnowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.\n\nExperience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred\n\nKnowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft\n\nExperienced in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid or similar software\n\nOSHA certification, First Aid Certs\n\nExcellent written and verbal skills\n\nHighschool diploma or GED preferred but not required\n\nOUR MISSION\nWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.\nOUR VISION\nWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
