We’ve provided design-build and design-bid-build construction for more than four decades, responding to disasters and supporting military operations around the globe.\nAcross the globe, notable projects include the US Coast Guard Maritime Patrol Hanger on Cape Cod, U.S Forces Operations Facility at Camp Victory, Iraq, National Army Brigades in Afghanistan, the Air Warfare Center in Saudi Arabia and multiple security upgrades for U.S. Embassy’s across the globe.\nExtraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent\nDescription:\nAs a Superintendent and Quality Control Manager at Perini Management Services, reporting to our Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:\nLead, schedule, coordinate and supervise the construction work, including supervision and of craft subcontractor/ employee activities.\n\nImplement and manage the approved Contractor Quality Control Plan including responsibility for all required preparatory meetings, initial inspections and follow up inspections.\n\nPlan and supervise Subcontractor and/or craft activities by determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.\n\nDevelop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, safety program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work.\n\nMaintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.\n\nIdentify and assist in resolving construction problems such as lack of productivity, work interfaces, conflicts in drawings & site conditions, etc.\n\nMonitor craft compliance with project Safety and Quality Control program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.\n\nAssist Project Management with the development of the Project Execution Schedule, site logistics, project procedures, standards, etc.\n\nMonitor Schedule Progress Daily, Weekly, Monthly.\n\nDevelop 4 week look ahead schedules and review with construction team / Subcontractors weekly.\n\nManage, review, and control construction submittals and submittal schedule.\n\nPerform quality control inspections, witness tests to determine acceptability of work, and schedule and coordinate QA inspectors with Owner’s Rep.\n\nAssist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assure correctness of all documents.\n\nAssist in preparation/implementation of quality control procedures, i.e., inspection instructions, control measuring and test equipment, etc.\n\nParticipate in internal/external quality control and ensure progress by proactively address Q.C. issues.\n\nManages subcontractors to ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1 and Perini’s safety program.\n\nIdentifies and evaluates hazards, develops activity hazard analysis’s, proactively develops solutions for project safety concerns.\n\nRequirements:\n10 + years of combined construction experience as Project Manager, Superintendent, QC, Safety, Supervision, and/or Management Experience.\n\nExperience on at least one project with a value of $25+ Million.\n\nMinimum 2 years’ experience as QC Manager.\n\nExperience working on US Federal Construction Projects, preferably with USACE or NAVFAC.\n\nUSACE CQM certification required.\n\nFamiliarity with EM 385-1-1 required.\n\nOSHA 30-hour for Construction required.\n\nTemporary relocation to Newfoundland required.\n\n4-year degree, PE, EIT, a plus\n\nPerini Management Services builds extraordinary projects, and we need exceptional talent.
