tools\nHandle the hard cases automation can’t: tricky backports, corner cases and failing builds\nResearch CVEs and backport security fixes to older package versions\nBuild and maintain packages across RPM- and DEB-based distributions\nProcess tickets and help unblock reviews\nUse AI coding assistants every day and learn to check their output critically\nThis is a remote internship about C / systems code\nComfortable with GNU/Linux, the command line and shell scripting\nExperience using Git for development and patch/branch management\nSolid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures\nComfortable using AI coding assistants day-to-day: good prompting, and you can spot when the output is wrong\nEnglish at B2 level or above\nProactive and able to work independently\nNice
