Before a single programme reaches them, it has to travel through a long chain of systems: received, processed, prepared, published and delivered.\nWe are now looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join the Media Supply Tech team in Content Delivery, the area that builds and operates the systems moving content from planning and preparation to TV4 Play, MTV Katsomo and linear television.\nBefore you apply\nTo be considered, you need to already have the right to work and reside in Sweden and be able to work office-first from Stockholm. You will work at the heart of media delivery, modernising systems that keep running every day, so content reaches viewers faster, with fewer manual steps and more of the knowledge and ownership inside TV4.\nHere, you will work closely with the people who depend on our systems. All of them are colleagues, so you can see how they actually work and build what makes their day better.\nYou are curious about how media gets from A to B at TV4, and want to understand the whole delivery process, not just your own part of it.\nYou see AI as a natural part of modern software development. We build with agentic tools every day, and we keep our hands on the wheel: people decide how the system should work, and AI executes.\nAbout the team\nOur part of the chain is the media supply: the ecosystem that receives, processes, prepares and moves media between systems. Keeping that flow reliable is the foundation of everything we do.\nBut we are also building what comes next. The team is inventing and developing a completely new, automated playout system, one that challenges conventional broadcast technology by using the cloud and AI.\nIn practice, you will work on the whole chain: reliable ingest with retries and failure handling, event-driven workflows and queues that run processing and transcoding jobs, storage and cost optimisation for large volumes of video, and a steady flow of new integrations and features.\nThe team works where engineering, operations and production meet. What we do, in the end, is solve problems. Collaboration is important to us: we solve them together, within the team and with the people who feel them.\nWhat you will do\nBuild and evolve the services that move media through TV4's delivery process\n\nFind manual steps and handovers in the flow, and automate them away\n\nWork closely with users and stakeholders to understand what they need, and let the value for them guide what you build\n\nSimplify a landscape of systems and integrations that has grown over many years\n\nContribute to architectural decisions and technical direction across the media supply chain\n\nTake responsibility for your services in production, including monitoring and continuous improvement\n\nUse AI tools actively as part of the development process\n\nAbout you\nYou are a motivated and growth-minded engineer who takes ownership. When you pick something up, you see it through from start to finish, and you care about whether it actually helped someone.\nEngaging with people across the organisation comes naturally, whether they are engineers, operators or producers. The value you create for them comes first, and the technology follows.\nWe also believe that you:\nHave solid engineering fundamentals from building and operating software across the stack, so you can judge what AI produces\n\nCommunicate clearly and make complex things easy to understand\n\nHave experience working in modern cloud-based product environments\n\nHave adopted AI and agentic development as a tool for improving quality, learning and productivity\n\nExperience from streaming, broadcast or media technology is a plus, but not a requirement.
