We are now looking for a Sr. Platform Engineer to help develop our Internal Developer Platform.\nBefore you apply\nTo be considered, you need to already have the right to work and reside in Sweden and be able to work office-first from Stockholm. We are not able to offer relocation or visa sponsorship for this role.\nWhat we are building\nOur engineering teams own the software they build, from development through production. Engineering Platform provides the shared foundation that supports them.\nOur platform is built around AWS, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code. We are moving more shared infrastructure capabilities into the platform, with clearer abstractions and self-service for engineering teams.\nWe want to provide clear interfaces and sensible defaults without taking ownership away from the teams running the software.\nOur users are engineers, and the platform needs to work well for them.\nWhat you will do\nYou will work in a small team responsible for our cloud platform and Internal Developer Platform.\nYou will:\nBuild and evolve shared cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities\n\nDevelop self-service capabilities for engineering teams\n\nImprove how services are provisioned, deployed and operated\n\nTurn recurring infrastructure needs into shared platform capabilities that teams can use themselves\n\nWork with teams across TV4 to understand where the platform creates friction or unnecessary work\n\nImprove reliability, observability, security and operational practices across the platform\n\nTake responsibility for the capabilities you build in production\n\nContribute to technical direction and platform architecture\n\nThis is a hands-on engineering role. You will work close to both the underlying infrastructure and the engineers using it.\nAbout you\nYou are an experienced platform or infrastructure engineer who has built and operated production environments at scale.\nYou understand cloud infrastructure deeply enough to know where abstraction helps and where it gets in the way. You are comfortable working below the abstraction when needed, but also interested in creating platforms that make good engineering practices easier for other teams.\nWe are looking for:\nStrong experience with modern cloud infrastructure\n\nExperience with Kubernetes and containerised production environments\n\nInfrastructure as code and automated provisioning\n\nExperience designing or building internal platforms, developer platforms or self-service infrastructure\n\nStrong understanding of reliability, observability, networking and security\n\nExperience operating systems in production and handling incidents\n\nGood software engineering fundamentals and the ability to build platform tooling and services\n\nThe ability to make technical trade-offs across infrastructure, developer experience and operational complexity\n\nClear communication and experience working across engineering teams\n\nYou don’t have to have experience with all of these things to be a good fit for the role, but they are things you will encounter at TV4. Experience from a specific cloud provider or toolset is less important than understanding the underlying problems.\nPlatform as a product\nOur users are engineers across TV4. We work closely with them to understand recurring problems, decide what belongs in the platform and build capabilities that work across teams.\nThis requires strong infrastructure knowledge as well as an interest in developer experience and product thinking.\nEngineering Platform\nEngineering Platform consists of two closely related parts:\nCloud Infrastructure / Internal Developer Platform builds the cloud platform and shared capabilities our teams use to build, deploy and operate software, with an increasing focus on self-service and platform abstractions.\nAgent Platform focuses on how we build software: agentic workflows, developer tooling and AI-assisted engineering.\nThis role belongs to Cloud Infrastructure, but the two areas work closely together.\nTechnical environment\nYour day-to-day may include:\nAWS\n\nKubernetes\n\nTerraform/OpenTofu\n\nkro and ACK\n\nGitHub Actions\n\nGo, TypeScript and other languages used across our engineering organisation\n\nPostgreSQL, DynamoDB and OpenSearch\n\nGrafana and OpenTelemetry\n\nYou’ll build APIs, CLI tooling and internal developer tooling on top of this. The exact technologies will continue to evolve.
