Your role and responsibilities Accounts Payable: Reviewing, recording, and accounting for supplier invoices (domestic, EU, and non-EU), verifying tax compliance, and managing the payment schedule. Accounts Receivable: Issuing and recording sales invoices, monitoring collections, and performing initial accounts receivable follow-ups. Cash and Bank Management: Recording cash and bank transactions, as well as accounting for credit card charges and employee expense reports. Fixed Asset Management: Entering depreciable assets into the fixed asset register, calculating depreciation, and managing asset disposals or divestments. Bank Reconciliations: Periodically reconciling bank statements with accounting ledgers. Ledger Review: Periodically verifying and cleaning up customer and supplier sub-ledgers, as well as suspense/transitory accounts. Closing Support (Monthly/Annual): Preparing data for adjusting entries (calculating accruals, deferrals, and invoices to be received or issued). VAT Settlement: Periodically calculating and verifying VAT (monthly or quarterly) and preparing the F24 tax payment form.
