This role supports North American projects and operations while collaborating with global engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions across multiple PLC platforms.\nYOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and develop PLC, HMI, motion control, and safety control software.\nConfigure and integrate equipment into complete production line solutions.\nParticipate in machine commissioning and startup activities.\nTroubleshoot and resolve automation, controls, and communication issues.\nSupport standardization and modularization of software architecture.\nCollaborate with global engineering teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, software specifications, and commissioning reports.\nProvide technical support to automation and operations teams.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives for machine performance and software quality.\nEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or 3 years of proven work experience in a related field.\nExperience programming PLC-based automation systems required.\nKnowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming standards required.\nExperience with industrial networking and communications (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, etc.) required.\nSiemens TIA Portal and WinCC experience preferred.\nFamiliarity with SCADA systems preferred.\nMotion control and servo systems experience preferred.\nMachine safety systems experience preferred.\nExperience commissioning full lines and individual machines preferred.\nAbility to make software changes following a predefined standard preferred.\nExcellent understanding of modular and scalable programming methods.\nAbility to understand pneumatic and electrical controls and machine design.\nSystematic problem-solving ability combined with strong time management.\nExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills.\nPersonable, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and upper management.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nAbility to travel occasionally to other DC locations.\nWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU\nYou’ll be part of a people-centric culture where your well-being truly matters.
