Working as part of multidisciplinary project teams, you will support projects through various stages of development, from concept and preliminary design through detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning. Depending on experience level, the role may include increasing responsibility for technical delivery, design coordination, project execution, and mentoring of junior team members.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering & Design\nDevelop, review, and coordinate civil and structural engineering designs for energy and infrastructure projects.\nPrepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and other project deliverables.\nDesign and detail foundations, steel and reinforced concrete structures, equipment supports, buildings, site infrastructure, and related civil works as applicable to project requirements.\nApply relevant engineering principles, codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements.\nInterpret and incorporate geotechnical, survey, equipment, architectural, and other technical information into engineering designs.\nSupport constructability, value engineering, and design optimization initiatives.\nProject Delivery & CoordinationCoordinate civil and structural activities with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of project requirements.\nParticipate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination meetings, and technical discussions with project teams and clients.\nSupport project delivery in accordance with established scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.\nProvide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and site activities as required.\nIdentify design issues, interfaces, and technical risks and assist with developing practical engineering solutions.\nTechnical Leadership & DevelopmentFor Intermediate and Senior roles, take increasing responsibility for planning and coordinating discipline deliverables and technical activities.\nFor Senior roles, provide technical leadership, review and approve discipline deliverables, and coordinate civil/structural engineering activities across complex projects.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.\nContribute to engineering standards, procedures, design practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport proposals, estimates, technical scopes, and other business development activities as appropriate to the role.\nQuality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure engineering and design work complies with applicable legislation, codes, standards, client requirements, and company procedures.\nParticipate in quality assurance and technical checking processes appropriate to the level of responsibility.\nIncorporate health, safety, environmental, and constructability considerations into engineering solutions.\nMaintain accurate engineering documentation and support effective document control throughout the project lifecycle.\nQualifications & SkillsJunior Civil/Structural Engineer or Designer\nBachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, as appropriate to the role.\nLess than 3 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering or design.\nBasic understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, design practices, and applicable codes and standards.\nAbility to develop engineering calculations, drawings, models, and technical documentation under appropriate supervision.\nFamiliarity with common engineering design, analysis, BIM/CAD, and documentation tools.\nStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.\nIntermediate Civil/Structural Engineer or DesignerBachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, as appropriate to the role.\n4-9 years of relevant civil/structural engineering or design experience.\nDemonstrated experience delivering civil and structural engineering or design work for energy, infrastructure, industrial, or related projects.\nGood working knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, specifications, and design practices.\nAbility to independently develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, models, specifications, and technical documentation.\nExperience coordinating technical interfaces with other disciplines and supporting project delivery.\nProficiency with relevant engineering design, analysis, BIM/CAD, and project documentation software.\nSenior Civil/Structural Engineer or DesignerBachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, as appropriate to the role;
