Though we thank all applicants that apply for this role, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.\nJob Summary\nAs a Intermediate Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, large-scale engineering and infrastructure projects within the chemical and industrial sectors. This role is responsible for providing strategic oversight and leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations, contractual obligations, and business objectives. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, executive stakeholders, clients, contractors, and global operations to drive successful project execution, operational excellence, and long-term client relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Leadership & Execution\nLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex multidisciplinary engineering and capital projects. \nDevelop and oversee project execution plans, schedules, budgets, staffing strategies, and delivery methodologies. \nProvide strategic direction to project teams to ensure alignment with scope, quality, schedule, and financial objectives. \nDrive resolution of critical project issues, risks, and changes to minimize operational and commercial impacts. \nEnsure project delivery aligns with contractual requirements, company standards, and client expectations. \nClient & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the senior point of contact for clients, joint venture partners, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders. \nBuild and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships. \nLead high-level project reviews, client presentations, and executive reporting activities. \nSupport business development initiatives, proposal preparation, project pursuits, and contract negotiations. \nFacilitate collaboration across geographically dispersed teams and multiple business units. \nFinancial, Commercial & Risk ManagementOversee project financial performance, including forecasting, revenue recognition, cost control, and profitability management. \nIdentify and manage project risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. \nReview and manage contracts, change orders, claims, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance. \nEnsure accurate project reporting, documentation, and compliance with internal governance processes. \nSupport portfolio planning and resource allocation activities to optimize operational performance. \nQuality, Safety & Regulatory ComplianceChampion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements. \nEnsure projects are executed in accordance with applicable industry regulations, codes, standards, and company procedures. \nOversee quality assurance and quality control processes across all phases of project execution. \nParticipate in audits, risk reviews, lessons learned initiatives, and continuous improvement programs. \nPromote operational excellence and adherence to corporate governance standards. \nLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and support project managers, engineers, and project support personnel. \nFoster a collaborative and high-performance work environment across multidisciplinary and global teams. \nProvide guidance on project management best practices, technical coordination, and leadership development. \nSupport succession planning, talent development, and organizational capability growth initiatives. \nEncourage innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams. \nQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline. \n3+ years of project management experience within engineering, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, or related sectors. \nProven experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering or capital projects in a consulting, EPC, or industrial environment. \nStrong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract management, and risk mitigation practices. \nDemonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, contractors, and geographically distributed teams. \nStrong knowledge of applicable industry regulations, safety standards, and engineering project delivery practices. \nExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. \nAbility to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced global environment. \nProficiency with general project management, scheduling, financial reporting, and collaboration software tools. \nProfessional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are considered an asset. \nNote: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not exhaustive.
