Our name says it all: Together We Deliver.\nJob Summary\nAs a Junior Process Engineer, you will support the delivery of process engineering activities across energy, oil and gas projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will contribute to process design, engineering calculations, technical documentation, and multidisciplinary project execution while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, client specifications, and company procedures. This contract opportunity offers exposure to a variety of projects and provides the opportunity to develop technical expertise within a global engineering environment. This position is based out of our Burlington, ON office.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProcess Engineering Support\nAssist in the preparation of process engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process descriptions, and engineering reports.\nPerform routine process engineering calculations, including material and energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing under supervision.\nSupport the development and review of process datasheets and technical specifications for process equipment.\nParticipate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into engineering deliverables.\nProject ExecutionSupport the execution of projects through all engineering phases, including concept, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning support as required.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated and coordinated project delivery.\nAssist with technical evaluations, document reviews, and engineering change management activities.\nContribute to meeting project schedules, quality requirements, and client expectations.\nTechnical Documentation & CompliancePrepare and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.\nEnsure engineering work complies with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in hazard identification and process safety reviews, including HAZID and HAZOP activities, as appropriate.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.\nStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with senior engineers, project teams, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.\nCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding engineering progress and technical matters.\nParticipate in project meetings and provide engineering input as required.\n Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n0-3 years of relevant process engineering experience within the energy, oil and gas, or industrial sectors.\nUnderstanding of fundamental process engineering principles, equipment design, and process calculations.\nFamiliarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and engineering best practices.\nGeneral knowledge of process engineering software and engineering design tools.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.\nWillingness to learn, adapt, and develop technical capabilities within a project delivery environment.\nNote: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not exhaustive.
