Specific but not all-inclusive market areas include:· Hydraulics Solutions· Electro-Mechanical System\n\nResponsibilities and Tasks: \nWork with Engineering to create value propositions and demonstrations of new concepts and technology to customers and/or end users.\nAttend tradeshows, conferences and other events to seek out new technologies applicable to our customer’s needs and requirements.\nAlong with the General Manager of RTL and Program Director(s), create, maintain and execute a 5-year Strategic Roadmap for Hydraulic and Electro-Mechanical Systems\nAssess annual service budgets and long-range plans (Program Objective Memorandum) to recommend key areas to target within the service and which are in line with the company long-range roadmap.\nEstablish relationships and trust with current and potential industry and government customers with the goals of securing and expanding business bookings and sales.\nContinuously assess RTL, ESA, ESL capabilities (current and emerging) against customer requirements.\nAssess and make recommendations for RTL to partner with 26 Defense and/or ESL where opportunities exist for new business.\nOther related duties as assigned by the General Manager\n\nBusiness Relationships:\nService Program Management Offices\nConnections with DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)\nUnderstanding and experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) market- Hydraulics Market is a plus\nService requirements organizations\nService labs and other research organizations\nUSG Prime Contractors and OEMs\n\nEducation, Experience, License, or Certification: \nBachelor's degree is required.\n3-10 years of functional (using skill set) experience is required\n1-2 years of functional experience after working at DLA\n\nSkills and Abilities: \n• Exhibits ability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret information effectively.• Ability to create and maintain constructive customer relationships.• Ability to understand industry trends and our customers and competitors’ strategies, strengths and weaknesses.• Knowledge or experience in the applicable technical area or product line.• Exhibits future growth potential.• General knowledge and understanding of program budgeting process.• Ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing to including preparing and leading business reviews and presentations.• Able to work independently, with oversight, to build and lead an integrated product team.• Proficient in the use of MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, and Project applications.\n\nTravel Requirements: \nTravel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support customer meetings, site visits, and various business-related
