Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensure the logistical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.\nResponsibilities and Tasks \nPerform requirements management, analysis, and allocations using tools such as DOORS.\nConceptualize, analyze, design, and oversee complex systems level architecture design.\nPerform modeling and simulation at the system level including use of model-based system engineering tools\nRecommends tools to improve systems engineering design of a product and procedures.\nDevelop systems specifications, master test plans, and other necessary artifacts.\nProvide inputs into the integrated master schedules and track program progress.\nGenerate systems engineering artifacts in support of each program.\nLead cost estimates to support engineering activities.\nAssist in verification and validation responsibilities.\nFully understand internal systems engineering procedures and mentor entry level engineers.\nOther related duties assigned by supervisor.\nEducation, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification\nSpecific Degree Field Required: Aeronautical, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Software or Systems Engineering.\nMaster’s degree plus 7 years’ experience OR Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years’ experience.\nEligible to obtain Security Clearance. \nTraining Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):\nESD\nSafety Training, as dictated by Safety Department\nAdvanced DOORS requirements management training\nSystems Engineering Simulation and Modeling concepts\nSystems Engineering methods and procedures\nDesired Skills and Abilities\nDOORS requirements management tool suite.\nMicrosoft Office including the use of Excel and other desktop tools.\nMicrosoft Projects.\nSystems level analysis tools such as MATLAB or equivalent.\nSystems level block diagram capture tools such as Visio.\nCAMEO Enterprise Architecture\nExperience with EO/IR systems\nOther related systems engineering
