The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and with internal and external stakeholders, and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10–15% of the time.\nResponsibilities and Tasks:\nAttend customer meetings for the purpose of understanding their requirements related to linear and non-linear control systems including digital controls\nWork with the design and development domain control systems\nReview, develop and document system level operational concepts and mission statements.\nUnderstand platform integration requirements at the platform level\nVerification and validation of highly complex system designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements\nSupport proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost estimating and presentation activities\nProduce and/or review technical documents, specifications and standards\nAbility to effectively document and communicate designs, results, reports, status and presentations\nWork independently and with internal/external organizations\nEducation, Experience, License, or Certification:\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or other relevant degree\n5+ years of experience in Servo Control, Motion Control, or Navigation.\nProven experience in classical linear and non-linear control including digital control preferred\nSkills and Abilities:\nKnowledge of approximation and Kalman filters\nKnowledge of inertial sensors\nWorking knowledge of C language and MATLAB is a must.\nExperience with design and development in time and frequency domain control systems\nAbility in development of models and simulations of dynamic systems in Simulink\nTravel/Physical Requirements:\nApproximately 10-15% travel both domestically and
