Advise Twilio’s internal clients on contract interpretation and negotiation. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!\n*Required:\nStrong academic credentials and demonstrated record of success as a lawyer \nAdmitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state or province in which the position is located.\n5+ years of commercial transactions experience with at least 3 years of negotiating complex technology transactions (e.g., SaaS)\nExperience supporting a large sales organization \nAbility to structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc. \nProven ability to provide entrepreneurial, quick-thinking, pragmatic, business-oriented advice and recommendations that properly balances the legal risk and business reward\nMust be able to take complex legal concepts and explain them in a way that allows a non-lawyer to understand the issue and the associated risk\nOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach\nAbility to triage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate expectations with internal clients and delivering results efficiently\nAbility to read, write, and communicate fluently in Spanish is required\nLocation\nThis role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.\nTravel \nWe prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.\nThe estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:\nBased in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. :$155,520 - $194,400.\nBased in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $164,640 - $205,800.\nBased in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $182,960 - $228,700.\nThis role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s corporate bonus plan.
