Come join our team!\nZantech is looking for a talentedChief Enterprise Architect to contribute to the success of our upcoming Technical Infrastructure and Platform Support project for an On-Site role based out of Arlington, VA.\nThe Chief Enterprise Architect will play a crucial role in providing:\nData Acquisition, Analytics, and Governance Services (data ecosystem design and integration)\nTechnical Infrastructure and Platform Support (cloud architecture, scalability) - PWS Section 5.1 text references \"Sections 4.3 and 4.5\"; confirm intended cross-reference against PWS Section 4 numbering\nPMP Technical Roadmap and Future-Proofing & Tech Horizon Parity Plan (architectural input)\nCybersecurity and Information Assurance (Zero Trust Architecture alignment)\nThe Chief Enterprise Architect serves as the ultimate technical authority for the design, scalability, and integration of the entire data and analytics ecosystem (the Data and Analytics Portal), ensuring the architecture meets all requirements and supports the modular, open-architecture Future-Proofing & Tech Horizon Parity Plan required in the PMP.\nResponsibilities include, but will not be limited to:\nOwn end-to-end architecture for the D&A ecosystem, including scalability and integration decisions\nLead ETL/ELT and OLAP/OLTP system design across legacy and modernized components\nCreate and maintain formal architecture documentation (system views, technical roadmaps)\nGuide modular, loosely coupled, open-architecture design to prevent vendor lock-in (PWS Section 9.0)\nSupport Zero Trust and FedRAMP High / DoD IL5-compliant architecture decisions\nRequired Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:\nTen (10)+ years designing scalable, secure, resilient enterprise-level systems, including at least 5 years focused specifically on data-intensive solutions in a cloud environment; 5 years hands-on data modeling experience (logical and physical models).\nSkills Required:\n Enterprise/solution architecture for cloud-based data and analytics platforms\nData modeling (logical and physical) and ETL/ELT integration architecture\nOLAP and OLTP system design\nFormal architecture documentation (system views, technical roadmaps) for a complex data ecosystem\nDoD Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) alignment\nRequired Education/Certifications:\nEducation Required:MA/MS degree and 10+ years of experience (Senior/Lead tier)\n\nBA/BS with 12+ years of experience is an accepted substitute\nEducation Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field\n\nProfessional-level cloud architect certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)\nTOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification\nCertifications Required: \nCertifications Preferred:\nRequired Security Clearance:\nUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.\n“Outstanding Performance…Always!”\nOur corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
