Come join our team!\nZantech is looking for a talented Sr Systems Administrator\nto contribute to the success of our DoD Client.\nThe Sr Systems Administrator ensures stable operation of computer software systems and network connections supporting the DLA Disposition Integration Web (DIW) Program Office. Responsible for planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software, communication links, and application environments. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking including load balancing, fault tolerance, and vulnerability management supporting applications including ETID, RTD Web/Mobile, Compliance Suite, GenComm, ESP, and future mobile applications.\nImpact:\nThis role directly impacts system availability, performance, and security for DLA's mission to manage disposal of excess property from military services and support disaster relief operations nationwide.\nResponsibilities include, but will not be limited to:\nSystem/network software installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization\nCapacity/performance analysis; provide system configuration change/upgrade recommendations\nApplication networking: load balancing, fault tolerance implementation\nVulnerability management and security patching (STIGs, SRRs, CERT/CTO/IA compliance)\nAutomation via scripts and tools; develop system administrator procedures\nEnvironment management (Development, Test, Stage, Production)\nDatabase administration support: DBMS software/patches, backup/recovery, COOP participation\nEnd user support, training, and troubleshooting\nRemote maintenance support to operational systems at multiple locations\nSSRS configuration support; data management and reporting\nDevelop and execute implementation, configuration, migration, validation, rollback, and contingency plans.\nAutomate repeatable administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, configuration management, or infrastructure-as-code tools where appropriate.\nValidate system functionality and operational readiness following upgrades, deployments, patches, and migrations.\nRequired Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:\n10 years of specialized Information Technology experience, with the majority specialized in numerous Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions\nAt least 10 years of concentrated, hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software\nSkills Required:\nExpert systems administration across multiple platforms (Windows Server, Linux, etc.)\nNetwork software, communication links, application servers\nAdvanced application networking, load balancing, fault tolerance\nSupport monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, capacity planning, and service availability reporting.\nVulnerability management, security tools, configuration management\nDISA, J64 TFS, Azure GovCloud environments\nDatabase administration knowledge, SSRS support\nStrong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, critical thinking, time-management, communication and prioritization skills\nProven ability to write and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, configuration records, meaningful statuses, and implementation plans.\nCollaborate with the Project Manager, technical leads, developers, DBAs, security specialists, functional analysts, testers, and customer representatives.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort, eliminate recurring incidents, improve standardization, and lower operational risk.\nRequired Education/Certifications:\nBachelor's degree in information technology related field with 10 years of relevant experience\nCertifications Required:\nDoD 8570/8140 IA certification - Operating system certifications for administered systems\nOperating system certifications relevant to administered systems\nRequired Security Clearance:\nActive Secret Clearance (minimum) and US Citizenship per contract requirements.\n“Outstanding Performance…Always!”\nOur corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
