With a sound financial structure and a strong balance sheet that fuels continuous investments in its assets, Twin Rivers Paper offers its customers the security of local product availability through a strong, domestically owned manufacturer and the assurance of long-term viability.\nSCOPE:\nReporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing human resource support for the Madawaska Mill\nRESPONSIBILTIES:\nActively supports and promotes safe work practices throughout the mill by being present at safety activities and personally encouraging safe behaviors.\nAdministers and explains benefits to employees, serves as liaison between employees and benefit carriers and update employee information as needed.\nSupports the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, I9 verification, benefits, payroll, employee changes, leaves, retirement and termination process.\nAdminister and support biweekly payroll processing including the UKG payroll system.\nAssist union representatives when requested for specific information such as earnings, dues and addresses.\nMaintains and updates human resource database and manual filing system.\nCoordinate new hiring onboarding, including employment documentation, payroll setup, benefit enrollment, and employee records.\nCoordinates and administers annual benefits open enrollment.\nAdministers retirement benefits, including benefit payments, COBRA deductions, and applicable medical premium arrears.\nCoordinate and support 401(K) audits, employee data audits, and other audits as required.\nMaintains the integrity and confidentiality of all Human Resources information.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and corporate laws and policies related to Human Resources.\nTrack and monitor TN visa status and expiration dates.
