Reporting to the Platform Team Lead, this role will involve a healthy mix of foundational backend work and DevOps, making it ideal for someone who likes variety in the projects they work on. The role assumes active collaboration with our iOS, Computer Vision, Visualization & Tooling, Web, Infrastructure, and Data engineers, as well as other functions within the company.\nResponsibilities:\nJoin our team in building the foundation that powers our business and operations.\nBuild the platform and tools that directly help thousands of architecture, design, and renovation companies save time and grow their businesses through 3D capture, and that help our team serve them better.\nEnsure the scalability and reliability of a distributed processing backend that processes a high volume of 3D scans per day.\nDevelop tools that empower our internal operations team to efficiently manage scan data.\nHelp other engineering teams unlock higher development velocity by adopting modern DevOps practices, tools, and technologies\nOwn your projects and use this autonomy to find creative, innovative ways to solve problems and deliver solutions.\nQualifications:\nIt's a joy to communicate with you in both written and spoken English\nYou have a strong background in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework \nYou have experience with databases like PostgreSQL and Redis.\nYou are proficient with modern agentic AI tooling and concepts like context engineering. You are an active user of Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, and you constantly explore new ways of using such tools and increasing efficiency gains.\nThe test pyramid has no secrets for you, and you stress over the testability of the code you write\nYou've built or maintained APIs, using monoliths or micro-services\nMajor cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc., are very familiar to you\nYou've worked in teams using Agile development practices, or others like ShapeUp, etc.\nYou're comfortable working with infrastructure and are capable of handling DevOps tasks when necessary\nAny of these qualifications will make you stand out:\nYou've had experience in writing technical documents and gathering requirements\nYou’re used to setting up or managing CI / CD pipelines with GitHub,
