You’llwork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and reliable, and directly with our intelligence community customers to deliver their mission. This involves analysingtheir requirements and configuring the cross-domain platform accordingly; and, with the rest of the team, resolving any issues and refining the setup together. \n This is a hands-on role where you’llhave the opportunity to influence technical direction, improve system performance, and contribute directly to meaningful projects. \nResponsibilities \nWe recognise that no one ticks every box. If your experience aligns with most of the below, we’dlove to hear from you: \nDesigning and maintainingreliable, scalable physical and virtual infrastructure \nMonitoring system performance and proactively resolving issues \nAutomating processes using tools such as Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency \nCollaborating with engineers and stakeholders across the business \nSupporting continuous improvement of systems, tools, and practices \nOperating across the full infrastructure stack, from bare metal systems throughtovirtualiseddeployments and the applications running within them. \nUnderstanding customers’ use cases, advising on the best components of the software system to use \nManaging the lifecycle of customer integrations, retiring integrations when no longer required \nTechnical consultancy with customers on how to integrate with the system via REST APIs, SFTP, Web-hooks, etc \nSecond and third-line support, responding directly to business issues and questions. \nRoot cause analysis and proactive problem solving. The team is empowered to deploy changes in response to arising requirements. \nKey Skills \nCandidate must have a live eDV clearance \nA collaborative mindset and eager to learn \nCommunicating with technical and business stakeholders \nUnderstanding of networking and software architectures \nUnderstanding of structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV \nUnderstanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures \nCritical thinker with the ability to reason about problems, test hypotheses, and make appropriate riskdecisions. \nDesirable Skills \nExposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Go \nFamiliarity with API definitions: Swagger / Open API 3 \nFamiliarisation with shell scripting \nFamiliarisation with AWS or other cloud platforms’ administration \nExperience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles \nExperience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices \nUnderstanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems \nExperience with Kubernetes - cloud or on-prem \nDiversity & Inclusion \nWe’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
