Medical and dental benefits are not included.\nWho You Are\nYou have at least two years of prior experience working at a front desk. You already know that you like this type of work. Prior experience in a vet clinic is not required.\nYou live in or near the Methow Valley would have a reasonable daily commute to work in Twisp.\nYou love people and animals equally. You are friendly and curious with both.\nWhen you interact with people and animals, you have a calming influence on them.\nIt’s a plus if you know veterinary terminology and the basics of animal behavior and health.\nYou are a multi-tasker and can talk to people, handle calls and enter data at the same time. You work just fine with interruptions because you don’t get flustered easily.\nYou are an on time person.\nYou're dependable and you plan your time off in advance, so that if you miss work, it’s for an important reason.\nYou prefer to work in a team, rather than working alone.\nYou like technology and learning new tech is easy for you.\nYou have professional maturity and you are a clear and thoughtful communicator.\nYou have a strong sense of humor. (Working in a vet clinic is humorous!)\nWhat You’ll Do\nWelcome clients and pets. You know that going to the vet can be stressful for people and pets alike. You make both feel like they are in good hands.\nAnswer and manage the phone. Be thorough, courteous and efficient on the phone.\nSchedule appointments. Make calls to confirm appointments. Manage the schedule to make sure it’s full and there aren’t unexpected openings. \nUpdate clients about pricing and scheduling processes.\nEnsure client and pet records are always up to date.
