In this lab-based role, attention to detail, strong documentation and communication skills, and working independently and in group settings will be critical for success. You will work directly with the Upstream Antibody Discovery team on various projects to produce and scale hybridoma cell lines while supporting the recombinant expression of antibodies and antigens. \nWhat You’ll Be DoingHybridoma generation, culture, scale-up, cryopreservation, and antibody production\nMammalian cell culture\nTransient transfections in mammalian cells to support recombinant expression of\n antibodies and antigens at a range of scales Media and buffer preparation\nManagement of antibody discovery project timelines and deliverables\nCross-functional coordination of workflows within the lab and with project managers\nTroubleshooting and continuous process improvement\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the TeamBachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required\nPrior laboratory experience is strongly preferred, with priority toward experience in an\n industry setting Mammalian cell culture experience with excellent aseptic technique\nKnowledge of antibody discovery processes a plus, with a preference toward\n understanding hybridoma-based workflows Ability to troubleshoot scientific processes\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n •Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment\nAbout Twist Bioscience\nTwist Bioscience synthesizes genes from scratch, known as “writing” DNA.
