The job requires physical endurance as well as mental determination and involves working in stress conditions for most of the time.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMeasures ingredients and prepares them in accordance to recipe book\nResponsible for setting up and working a station \nChecking station for proper Mise en place \nBeing ready for service on time \nDoing the necessary prep to be prepare for service \nCuts and portions different types of meat according to specifications\nPrepares different types of food from the menu, following carefully the recipes\nMakes stock soups to be used during cooking process\nKeeps track of ingredient quantities and ensures there are always enough for the day/week\nStores ingredients in dedicated containers, making sure that they are best preserved\nInform the chef when the ingredients stock is getting low or when the kitchen tools do not work properly\nCleans and sanitizes the working surfaces, tools, utensils and working area\nCarefully supervises the food temperature and the temperature from cooling, to ensure that the ingredients kept are kept at the appropriate temperature\nOther tasks as assigned\nPersonal Attributes:\nPays attention to details and completes thorough work tasks\nAbides to Code of conduct\nHandles difficult situations with composure\nPleasant and cooperative with co-workers, guests, and supervisors/managers\nOpen Availability -
