We are seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge R&D programs in a hands-on laboratory environment, developing innovative solutions that support the intelligence community.\nAs part of a multidisciplinary team of RF engineers, embedded developers, and security researchers, you will apply deep DSP expertise to reverse engineer real-world systems, design and implement advanced wireless algorithms, and develop mission-focused RF applications that deliver meaningful national security impact.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, implement, and optimize digital signal processing algorithms for real-world wireless systems\nPerform signal detection, identification, classification, and decoding of captured waveforms\nDevelop and evaluate receiver, transmitter, and modem architectures for RF systems\nPerform RF signal reception and transmission using common modulation schemes (FSK, PSK, QAM, OFDM, etc.)\nDevelop prototypes in laboratory environments using SDR hardware and RF test and measurement equipment\nContribute subject matter expertise in DSP, Software Defined Radio (SDR), and wireless communications systems\nContribute to a centralized development repository of software design patterns, tools, and infrastructure to build maintainable, reusable SDR building blocks.\nWhat you will need (Minimum Qualifications):\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline\nSoftware-defined radio expertise, including receiver architectures, channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, error-correcting codes, and spectral analysis\nExperience designing and implementing receiver, transmitter, and modem signal chains in cellular, radio, or RF communication systems\nExperience with physical layer (PHY) and Medium Access Control (MAC) layer concepts, including waveform processing, synchronization, channel estimation, framing, and link-level behavior\nFamiliarity with open-source signal processing libraries and frameworks\nExperience with common SDRs, such as Ettus USRP Series, BladeRF, and PlutoSDR\nMinimum of 3 years of experience with one or more modern development languages: C, C++, Embedded C, Python\nExperience with collaborative Git workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and conducting code reviews\nActive Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI\nNice if you have:\nDemonstrated ability to architect and implement end-to-end wireless communication systems with real-world performance requirements\nAdvanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline\nProficiency with SDRtools such as GNU Radio, Radio Hacker, GQRX, Vivado, or ModelSimHands on experience working with one or more common DSP providers such as Texas Instruments (TI), Analog Devices (AD), or STMicroelectronics\nActive TS/SCI clearance\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Top Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI\nTwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions.
