The team is composed of intelligent individuals, passionate about Linux stack integration, systems programming in C and Python, low-level networking, and hardware-facing data center infrastructure. The team is growing and looking for someone with a Linux internals, PCIe architecture, and high-performance packet processing background that has an understanding on how to bring new commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and network components into a cohesive, production-ready platform and bring it to market. If you are actively using Linux kernel drivers, PCIe passthrough, kernel-bypass packet processing, out-of-band management interfaces, and platform security frameworks, the team wants to talk to you!\nWhat you will do\nImplement C and Python systems programming tasks for low-level networking, hardware-facing code, and Linux kernel integration.\nExecute Linux internals work, including kernel module development, driver configuration, device enumeration, and system debugging below userspace. \nConfigure and integrate PCIe system architecture alongside high-performance networking offloads and out-of-band management interfaces. \nCollaborate cross-functionally with mechanical and hardware engineers to integrate COTS components into fieldable, production-ready platforms. \nProactively communicate project status to team leads, provide technical insights to resolve customer issues, and present technical designs to unclassified and classified customer stakeholders.\nWhat you will need (basic qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical domain, along with 9+ years of experience in systems programming, data center infrastructure, or network architecture.\nDeep expertise in systems programming in C and Python (low-level networking and hardware-facing code), Linux internals (kernel modules, drivers, device enumeration, debugging below userspace), and PCIe system architecture (topology, addressing, peer-to-peer, virtualization, and passthrough).\nDemonstrated experience in high-performance networking (kernel-bypass packet processing, hardware offload, line-rate data paths), out-of-band management (BMC and REST-based interfaces with automation), and cross-disciplinary collaboration with hardware and mechanical engineers.\nActive Top Secret Clearance with the willingness to speak with classified customers and the ability to work on-site at our Arlington, VA office.\nNice to have (preferred)\nMaster's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical domain, alongside an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.\nExperience with platform security frameworks (secure boot, roots of trust, attestation, cryptographic hardware, and compliance frameworks) and embedded/firmware tasks (cross-compilation for ARM, firmware provisioning, serial console, and out-of-band recovery).\nFamiliarity with GPU compute architectures (CUDA and accelerated inference pipelines), network security monitoring (intrusion detection, traffic analysis, detection engineering), or live memory forensics.\nHands-on experience with COTS hardware integration, automated test ranges, network deployment automation, and CI/CD infrastructure pipelines.\nExperience developing and deploying tailored offensive and defensive CNO capabilities through low-level systems development, network protocol analysis, and reverse engineering.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.\nTwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions.
