Through unrivaled collaboration and unwavering trust, we push the boundaries of what’s possible to empower our team and support our customers in building a safer global future.\nTwo Six Technologies is currently in need of a Software Developer on a 200+ FTE technical development program responsible for delivering modern Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions.\nWhat you will do \nDevelop unit and functional test plan\nProvide the operations and maintenance of operational systems\nModify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance\nAnalyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost restraints\nConsult with customers about software system design and maintenance\nCoordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequence of design\nDevelop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation\nConfer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces\nCorrect errors by making appropriate changes and then recheck the program to ensure that the desired results are produced\nConduct trial runs of program and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct\nCompile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instruction so others can understand the program\nWrite, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or receiving data, or controlling other equipment\nConsult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes\nPerform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements\nWritten, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic\nWrite or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users\nInvestigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program’s instructions\nPrepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operational, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language\nConsult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs\nAssign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel\nDesigns, Develops, and Maintains applications within the cloud environment. This can be for new applications development or the transition of legacy applications to the cloud environment.\nWhat you will need:\nRequires BS degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 12-15 years of prior relevant experience.\nDemonstrated experience in multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, and/or XML)\nExperience managing and developing web software\nDemonstrated experience with cloud services\nExperience in Windows and/or Unix\nExperience using code repositories such as Git\nDemonstrated experience documenting such artifacts as code and methodologies\nFamiliarity with writing unit and integration tests\nNice to haves:\nExperience with Spring and Java\nExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL\nExperience working in an AGILE development environment\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable/parallelized architectures\nPossess a passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends\nUnderstanding of Intelligence Community customers and their priorities\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph\nTwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions.
