We are seeking candidates that have an interest in research as well as a commitment to developing solutions for the real world. You will join a small, supportive team that values cooperation and creative spirit.We are seeking several interns for this 12-week internship program, which will be conducted onsite in Arlington, VA.\nKey Responsibilities:\nActively participate in research programs focused on advancing technology in the areas of resilient communications, next-generation networking, security, and privacy in mobile platforms\nBecome intimately familiar with all aspects of what goes on inside of today's smartphones, including the hardware, kernel, drivers, firmware, framework, and apps\nDesign and develop custom software solutions on mobile phones and other resource-constrained platforms, e.g., single-board computers \nMinimum Qualifications:\nPursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field\n1 year or more of professional or academic software development experience in the C++ or Java programming languages\nFamiliarity with standard Linux software engineering tools, e.g. git, gcc, make\nEligible and able to obtain and maintain a government clearance\nNice to have:\nExperience with Android app development using Java or Kotlin\nExperience building or modifying Android or other mobile operating systems\nExperience with network protocol development\nExperience with the Rust programming language\nAn active DoD clearance (Secret or above)\nClearance Requirements:\nUS Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance up to Top Secret \nThe projected pay range listed for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of rate.\nPay Range\n$25—$40 USD\nLooking for other great opportunities?
