The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment rack and stack, network cabling, device auditing, basic networking, VMware, Windows, and Linux administration. The candidate should also have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage ticket queues and respond to requests within SLA requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnable remote access to lab services for end users through SSL VPN, RDP, VNC, and View Client. \nPerform rack and stack activities for network and lab equipment. \nMaintain a clean, organized, and presentable lab environment. \nIdentify different types of network cables, connectors, and their appropriate applications. \nAudit physical and virtual devices, including connections, serial numbers, and IP addresses. \nMaintain and update lab and infrastructure documentation. \nAct as a ticket queue lead, monitoring incoming tickets and assigning or reassigning tickets to appropriate team members or groups. \nReview incoming requests and ticket updates daily and ensure appropriate follow-up. \nBuild and cable network topologies based on requirements from Engineers and Lab Administrators. \nMonitor power and cooling usage within the lab and identify potential issues. \nPerform basic troubleshooting of network outages and connectivity issues. \nUse SSH and console access to connect to network devices. \nFollow established SLA requirements and prioritize tickets appropriately. \nCommunicate clearly through email, messaging, and ticket updates. \nMaintain strong follow-up and responsiveness to user and engineering requests. \nFollow proper safety and equipment-handling procedures, including the ability to lift equipment weighing 50+ lbs. \nRequirements\n 2 -3 years of experience working in a lab, data center, network operations, or similar technical environment\nBasic network troubleshooting skills. \nBasic experience working with firewalls. \nHands-on experience with Cisco and/or Arista switches is preferred. \nBasic Windows administration experience. \nBasic VMware administration, including powering VMs on/off. \nBasic experience with CentOS, Ubuntu, or other Linux distributions. \nStrong understanding of copper and fiber-optic cabling. \nExperience with fiber and copper cable installation and management in a data center environment. \nStrong understanding of patch panels and cable connections. \nAbility to identify and manage different cable types and connections. \nFamiliarity with SSL VPN, RDP, VNC, and remote-access technologies. \nAbility to SSH and console into network devices. \nUnderstanding of basic power and cooling requirements in a lab/data center. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to understand and prioritize work according
